SO i just found out the game doesn’t start until 3pm PST so .. entries taken until then.

Ok so I’m not even going to try to pretend that I know anything about football, other than there’s a quarterback, a running back, a brown football some people call a pigskin and a referee or two. Nor am I going to pretend that superbowl sunday is about football, cause seriously it’s about the food, the commercials and hanging out with my friends! So basically just about having fun!!

Exactly like a photo session with me!!!

so on that note….

I am giving away one mini session to be redeemed during my Spring Portraits in the Park 2010. These are very special mini sessions that give you a chance to get a fun updated portrait of your kids, your pet, you & your honey or just you. A date has not been set yet. If you win and cannot make the date you can choose to trade in your Spring Portraits in the Park mini session for $100 off any portrait session of your choice.

How do you win? AHA! that is the easiest thing ever. Leave me a comment below with your name and email, the winning team name and final score of Superbowl XLIV!  One entry per person please. All entries must be in by Sunday, Feb 7th at 12:00pm PST. I will post a winner Monday. And maybe some photos of my Superbowl adventure. In the event of multiple correct entries, a random number generator will be used to determine the final winner.

Good luck everyone!!!!

And of course here is a picture. I love this set my very dear friend Paola horsing around at dinner last summer while we enjoying a fantastic time in Nuevo Vallarta!

A quick sneak peek…

I am thankful for so many things it would take a million years to list. In summary my family (who puts up with my craziness), my health ( I can still eat seconds of dessert and for that i am SUPER DOOPER thankful), my job which is so fun it’s hard to call a job and for my clients. They are all awesome and have shared so much with me!

Thank you!!

Here is a family to whom I am thankful to.

I met them at a wedding I shot this past summer. She was a bridesmaid. And as fall began I was honored to shoot her whole family and I fell in love with their little cutie pie.

During the session I saw how much they love their daughter. They demonstrated concern (she fell in her new shoes), love ( lots of kisses)

and the hardest thing a parent can do: to let go and know a child will succeed on their own. OK I’m dramatic here but seriously they let this cutie run around and have fun, giving her enough space to explore and even taste a little dirt. ;-)

All while being close by in case she needed a helping hand.

Isn’t her wavy hair precious?

Can’t wait to see this cutie pie again!!

Bye bye for now.

Time flies! I remember when I first met this little angels parents. And the first time I met him! Now 6 months later I almost didn’t recognize him! He’s gotten so big.

I love this little baby he is the cutest , best, happiest baby!! At the end of the session I wanted to take him home and keep him forever, unfortunately Veronica & Jose wouldn’t let me take him- but I did get to go home with all these great pictures!! Maybe you can pick a favorite- because I couldn’t.

The weather has been so weird one day it’s super hot the next day it’s super cold. Due to weather we had re-scheduled his 6 month session and upon arriving I was worried it might still be too cold. However the weather & photo gods agreed and played nice. The early evening turned out to be nice not too hot, not too cold just right!

I loved this session because along with the parents I got to share a few “baby’s firsts”.

First visit to the merry-go-round.

First story time on a park bench by the merry go round of his favorite book: What did baby do?

and I believe even first visit to the swing set!! Even though he didn’t get a push on the swing set– maybe we’ll do that on his first birthday!!

What “we” did do was play Peek a Boo! Seriously this was my favorite part of the session!

Well that’s it! How cute is he?? Were you able to pick just one favorite? I’ld love to hear which one it was you can tell me in the comments section. Veronica & Jose – Thank you so much for sharing your precious little angel with me!

One final one- how cute is his expression in this?
