Yes I know with high’s in the mid 50′s and a low of 32 I shouldn’t complain, it could be worse. However this California girl does not like the cold. If I had it my way it would be low 90′s every day & night all year round!!! If you agree with me wave your hands in the air -to keep the circulation going in this cold. ;-)

But anyways…. This is how I tried to stay warm last night! Let’s ignore the fact that I almost smoked the mutt and I out of my house. (the chimney vent thingie was closed- oops)How do you survive this Artic cold weather?

Hi everyone!
It’s that time of the year where we are all running around like crazy, feeling happy and frazzled all at once thinking about all those people in our lives we would like to buy the perfect gift for.

Unfortunately there are lots of people out there who don’t have anyone or worse if they do they might not have enough to feed them. That is where You, Second Harvest Food Bank of Santa Clara & I come in. Together we can help!

This is my second year participating in “Cans for Comments”, together with other photographers worldwide we are collecting cans with your help. I am here to make it easy on you. All you have to do is leave a comment right here on my blog. For every comment I receive from now until Dec 25th I will donate one can. It’s that easy! It doesn’t cost you a trip to the store nor a dime just a minute or two of your time. Leave a comment on any post.

I would love to hear who you are. That little cuties mom, a bride to be, my next door neighbor or a fellow photographer. Tell me a little about yourself, who you are, what you think or ask a question. Just click on the link below ANY blog post that says “comments” or click the title of the post and leave your comments at the bottom of the page. In the next 120 days I will be posting lots of posts with beautiful images in all photography formats so you will have lots of opportunities to donate a can via comment!!

As a note all comments are moderated. Your comment will not appear immediately, but it will within a few hours.

Remember 1 comment = 1 can! Easy Peasey!

Feel free to tell everyone about this and have them drop by to help! To find out more about this effort check out the Cans for Comments page and leave comments on some of the other photographer’s pages!

And because you came here for the photography. Here is an image that might warm you up if you are somewhere cold like me. I took this over the summer in NuevoVallarta!

Hello all!

This post is a little long. It will have lots of words and lots of images and 3 slide shows at the end. Please be patient it might take longer to load than usual.

So first I will show you what is possibly my FAVORITE image from whole day.

I have known Amy..my whole entire life..practically. We met back in grammar school and went to the same high school. When she contacted me via facebook to meet regarding her wedding photography I was so excited for her. And I was excited to see her whole entire family starting with her mom to her sister Necy (my long lost friend) to a teacher’s aide I had way back when to an old classmates mom. You see with Amy’s family once you meet any member of the McEntee clan you pretty much become family and are forever a member. This is something Wayne didn’t read in Amy’s profile.

Wayne and Amy met online. And from the best man’s toast – Wayne has a long history of doing lots of things online from finding online game buddies, to roommates, to a place to live…and now with Amy he has found a his soulmate . If you remember from their surf engagement session they radiate happiness. You can’t help but to be happy around them. On their wedding day there was nothing but happiness!

Fashion before comfort!

The day was gorgeous! They were married in San Juan Bautista’s breathe taking Mission.

The beautiful ladies

And the handsome guys

We took a stroll through town and ran into a Harley Davidson Bike festival!! Have I ever mentioned how much I LOVE Harleys?? The couple looked pretty hot modeling on some bikes a few guys were kind enough to let us use. Thanks guys!!

The reception was an awesome b-b-q at Casa Maria’s a few blocks away. The reception was a blast. Did I mention the piñata?

Or the gorgeous and very Yummy cake:

At dusk things really started to shake rattle and roll with the first dance immediately followed by lots & lots of dancing and even some kareoking.

The following collage CRACKS me up! Necy who is a total clown and can be very embarrassing decided it was time to shake her groove thing, and embarrass her son since he was just “standing around”.

Embarrasing her son

please note if noone ever hears from me again – it’s because Necy killed me for posting this! ;-)

Congratulations Wayne & Amy!!! I wish you a lifetime of happiness!

and now….

I ask for a moment of silence…..

Amy’s sister Mona lost her battle to cancer just a few short days ago.

My heart goes out to the whole family.

Here is a picture of the newly weds with Amy’s mom and all her siblings.

In honor of her sister Mona, Amy is “Making Strides Against Breast Cancer” in an American Cancer Society walk against cancer. She had goaled herself to raise $350.00. Let’s help Amy meet and EXCEED that goal! IF you can please
donate by clicking here to reach Amy’s pledge page.

As an incentive I will be raffling off a family session once she hits her goal. If you donate please leave me a note in the comments section in this blog or on my facebook page (where I am also running this raffle). I will announce the winner Nov 1 after her walk.

Last but not least the slideshows!
