I had the great pleasure of photographing the talented, not to mention beautiful Josephine Harmon! She’s not only an amazing person who I call a friend, she is also an incredibly talented make up artist! I highly recommend her.
Having a professional make up artist do your make-up for any photo session makes a world of difference! Not only does it help perfect your skin (without cosmetic surgery
) but you also feel ultra pampered and special. During the shoot you can play up that Diva feeling and have fun!!
ok so back to Josephine’s session.
She did a mother-daughter session, which is just in time for Mother’s day!! Her mom was such a natural in front of the camera and absolutely beautiful. I think she may have modeled at some point in her life. I really do!! I asked but she said no. Hmmm What do you guys think?
This session was a bit challenging at first because Josie’s mom is deaf, and I’m used to chatting directly with people during sessions. And if you know me I’m a total chatterbox.
However, Josie translated and did a great job and some of what her mom was signing I understood. So I asked Josie’s mom to tell me a story about Josie when she was a kid and she told me that Josie used to eat a lot and was a fat baby!! I absolutely understood that -no translation needed.
The session was full of laughter as you can see in so many of these images. I had the best time ever watching the special relationship between Josie and her mom.
Thank you ladies!! Can’t wait to see you two again.
And Josie I can’t wait to work with you on another wedding/portrait session!!!!

When they say the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree they must be talking about this beautiful daughter and her gorgeous mother! She is the epitome of classic beauty!!
Although you only get a tiny sneak peek…. I can guarantee the rest of the session is as beautiful if not MORE!!!
Leave a comment tell me what you think so far!

I seriously love doing portraits in the park each Spring! It’s a great opportunity for you to come out and get a quick session done in between the holidays and the new school season. And an even better opportunity for me to see you and a chance to catch up!!
That is exactly what the beautiful Rose Anna and I did.
I loved getting to know her boys a little and had so much fun chasing them around. Truthfully I was TIRED by the time we wrapped up. I have posted a ton of images of these cute boys and their fun expressions!!
How cute is this next set? Video games will teach kids the funniest things.
I couldn’t even pick a favorite I loved so many. Do you have a favorite? If so which one?
Ok maybe this one is my favorite. Mostly for the emotion and the bond between a mom and her “baby” that it portrays.

yesterday was awesome!
First I would like to thank Mother Nature for giving me a day full of Perfect light! THANK YOU!!! Next I would like to thank the families that came out! I had a blast and by the end of the day … my outfit was covered in mud, leaves, grass stains and sweat!! That is a sign of a fun day!!
Here’s ONE sneak peek. I love this baby! Her mom booked a bellies to babies collection with me so I do see them every few months. But wanted to get in an extra session to honor her daughter’s upcoming baptism. More on that later.
I will be rolling out a few sneak peeks and full posts in the upcoming weeks.
Stay tuned! If you missed out send me an email or leave me a comment and I will add you to my mailing list for advance notice next time I run a mini-session special!

I love Zoe & Milissa. They are some of my bestest friends! They are each awesome individuals but together they make a perfect couple!!
They are one of those couples that that really get it. They know that a relationship isn’t just about “me” but about us!
Another reason I love Milissa is because she is my awesome hairstylist! She Rocks- she always makes my mop look perfect!! If you are looking to change stylists I highly recommend her. You should give her a ring! She’s over at Plan Be, hair salon in downtown San Jose. They recently even added nail services! OOOH! Anyways, I think one day I’m going to steal her from Zoe forever so she can do my hair every morning.
Zoe watch out. Although Zoe is pretty handy too! He’s not only a fantastic real estate agent but also a fabulous handyman around the house!
And have I mentioned what awesome parents they are to their four legged kids?! Here are just three of them.
Zoe & Milissa as always … It’s fun to hang out with you!!! I can’t wait until I get to photograph your human kids!!!!

Now I know my ABC’s won’t you next time sing with me? And sign he does!!
This is my adorable little nephew. I call him LMNOP. His first name starts with an L and his middle with an M so one day i just busted out with the ABC’s tune and made his name sing-songy. Little did I know then that this kid would “grow up” to sing. Sometimes when it gets really quiet in the house you hear his little voice breaking out in song in some other room. {Awwwww isn’t that cute?} OK Auntie moment over. But seriously he is cute!
His hair is long! He wants to be like one of his big brothers who also has long skater kid hair. But LMNOP’s is always in his face!!! It drives me crazy!! Since I know I will always remember that about him, even when he is a surgeon or a big time lawyer (He He) I thought these images of him as such were perfect! This si something I love about doing child portraits – I let them be them! And I never expect them to look like their school pictures.
With spring around the corner and mother’s day/father’s day not to far off I’m starting to book up for these fun portrait sessions. Contact me to book your child’s!!
The below are just a few of my favorite images.

Did I mention he loves Disney’s Buzz Lightyear ( To infinity and beyond!)

Hi Everyone!
As the holiday season is in full gear I am feeling very blessed.I have really been enjoying doing so many family sessions!
This family is awesome. As always I loove capturing the dynamics between the various family members.
This family truly demonstrated that a family that plays together stays together.
The kid’s found the best tickler ever! Provided by mother nature..Tickles all the way around.
Watching siblings show each other so much love absolutely makes me all warm and fuzzy inside. Doesn’t this picture melt your heart??
Thank you guys for coming out bright and early! I had so much fun spending time with you. I hope to do it again!!

Mother + Daughter+ 2 Xoloitzcuintcles!
We love our mothers, our daughters but we also love our dogs! And they love us unconditionally!!
This mother daughter duo is so amazing. I can’t even begin to tell you how awesome they both are! I will just let you see how their beauty exudes from within.
I had a blast hanging out with these ladies in mom’s home and her beautiful garden; home to huge nopales, lavender and gorgeous roses.
This little one was Fiesty!!
and this one was nothing but prim & proper all ladylike.
This last image isn’t technically the best, however I love it because in 10-20-30… years, what each woman will remember is the relationship they had with each other. To me this says it all – a relationship so loving that siting at the kitchen table with each other is worth more than all the money in the world.
thank you ladies maybe next time we’ll do a 3 generation picture with grandmom too!

This summer has been a busy one. I’m finally catching up with holidays right around the corner I want to be sure to get all my Summer activities up.
Finally! Jose & Angela welcomed their second daughter: Miranda. She’s such a cutie! But honestly I couldn’t believe she was only days old when I photographed her.. she was already moving around and very willful. Mom said she was just as strong and active in her tummy. Yikes!!
