Remember all those carefree days you spent as a kid just frolicking in the sun and blowing bubbles?

Well that is exactly what I did with these cuties. I had so much fun chasing them around!

& look just how cute they are!! How lucky am I to travel back to my childhood. To days when it was ok to say “I don’t know” or “What is that?”

What was your favorite childhood toy?

yesterday was awesome!

First I would like to thank Mother Nature for giving me a day full of Perfect light! THANK YOU!!!  Next I would like to thank the families that came out! I had a blast and by the end of the day … my outfit was covered in mud, leaves, grass stains and sweat!! That is a sign of a fun day!!

Here’s ONE sneak peek. I love this baby! Her mom booked a bellies to babies collection with me so I do see them every few months. But wanted to get in an extra session to honor her daughter’s upcoming baptism. More on that later. ;-)

I will be rolling out a few sneak peeks and full posts in the upcoming weeks.

Stay tuned!  If you missed out send me an email or leave me a comment and I will add you to my mailing list for advance notice next time I run a mini-session special!

Now I know my ABC’s won’t you next time sing with me? And sign he does!!

This is my adorable little nephew. I call him LMNOP. His first name starts with an L and his middle with an M so one day i just busted out with the ABC’s tune and made his name sing-songy. Little did I know then that this kid would “grow up” to sing. Sometimes when it gets really quiet in the house you hear his little voice breaking out in song in some other room. {Awwwww isn’t that cute?} OK Auntie moment over. But seriously he is cute!

His hair is long! He wants to be like one of his big brothers who also has long skater kid hair. But LMNOP’s is always in his face!!! It drives me crazy!! Since I know I will always remember that about him, even when he is a surgeon or a big time lawyer (He He) I thought these images of him as such were perfect!  This si something I love about doing child portraits – I let them be them! And I never expect them to look like their school pictures.  ;-)

With spring around the corner and mother’s day/father’s day not to far off I’m starting to book up for these fun portrait sessions. Contact me to book your child’s!!

The below are just a few of my favorite images.

Did I mention he loves Disney’s Buzz Lightyear ( To infinity and beyond!)

I remember being a kid and only wanting to play with the teenagers and then as a teenager wanting to be 18 and then 21. My dad used to say “cual es la prisa?” (what’s the hurry?) I didn’t get it waaaay back then.

I have known Angela since she was a freshman in high school. Coincidentally the same high school I went to Notre Dame San Jose, although she’s a  few years younger than me.

I have known Jose since they were  dating still in their teens.

Together they have become a couple I admire. They are not only awesome husband & wife but also fantastic friends and amazing parents!!

Angela asked me to photograph their 10 year annivesery/family portraits with their not quite 1 year old back in November 2007. Which also happens to be when I first started blogging. Since then I have seen that little girl go from being the baby of the family to an older sister, who is learning to share and look out for this new being.

As an older sister myself, I can tell you sharing isn’t the easiest thing to have to do after a few years of everything being “mine only”. ;-)

Each new session, I want to hold time still and tell these two little girls Don’t grow up so quickly!

They say that what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. NOT so for this couple. Salina was in Vegas for a girls trip from California. Adam was there on a boys trip from New York!! They met and Salina said they hung out till way late having instantly bonded. Adam knew he couldn’t be apart from her and moved across the country to be with her. (awwwwwww!) Adam’s family is still back East and will be flying in for this event along with his boys! I look forward to meeting everyone. And when they see how nice the weather is here (please weather act right) they might even move here!!

A few weeks ago I gave you guys a little teaser to this engagement session.. well here is the full session!

It was a very cold day in San Francisco despite it being about 100 degrees in San Jose. The drastic weather change caused for us to truly appreciate all the hard work models put in, especially when they are required to shoot in bikinis in beautiful and crazy locations such as Alaska. Here is an attempt of modeling and not looking cold.

The little one wasn’t too happy about the weather (nor the camera). How cute is she??? I know she will make an adorable flower girl and give me a great work out, because I’ll have to chase her around!

I love this family portrait of all of them.

Salina & Adam are a super fun couple they joked around throughout the whole session. I’m sure their marriage will be full of love, laughter & fun.

I don’t think they expected to get in the cold ocean & get wet but with me you never know what’s going to happen!

Salina might kill me (after the wedding) for posting this but I thought it was cute. I had asked Adam to approach and kiss Salina in a very sexy- seductive fashion. UM and this is what happened.

I can’t wait until the wedding! It’s going to be so much fun! Wait till you see Salina’s dress!!! I haven’t seen it nor pictures but she’s described bits and pieces and I’m soo excited!! And seriously as cute as this couple is they could get married in pajamas!! ;-)

I leave you with one last image. A very typical San Francisco foggy day with the Golden Gate bridge playing Peek A Boo!

Balloons + Park + Fun Kids = Monkeys

According to their mother. I thought they were awesome fun!! Of course I gave them the go ahead to run amuck. SO I might be part monkey too!! For such a fun session I felt these images needed to be edited in a fun way to reflect the personality of the session.

This is such a teaser.. the full session to come in the next few days.

The weather is great the days are longer! If you want to do a weekday session after work it’s the perfect time! The sun is setting at about 7:30pmish. Contact me for availability & pricing.
