Last year I held a contest and met such an awesome family! (see them here)

I’ve decided to run this contest again. It was an awesome way to ring in the New Year that I figured why not do it again!

It’s a super fun & easy way to enter for a chance to win a family portrait session!

You have three ways to enter:

(each entry will be counted towards a chance to win)

Portrait session = 1 outdoor location (chosen by Mariana Maya Photography within San Jose Bay Area up to a 40 minute drive), up to 5 family members, Online Gallery of edited images, $50 Product credit
All entries must be received by January 9, 2012 at 5:00pm.
The lucky winner will be chosen by a random number generator!
Portrait session must be scheduled for any date between January 2, 2012 and March 31, 2012 (pending photographer’s availability).
Portrait location will be determined by the photographer and will be within a 40-mile radius of San Jose, CA. Winner must be willing to travel to determined location.
A model release form must be signed by winning party.
Photographer maintains the right to substitute any prize for one of equal value.

Its’ the crazy holiday season! Along with the first month of my new year – also known as the month after my birthday

I had a FANTASTIC birthday month and since I don’t want my birthday “month” to end…

Do you have the cutest baby born in 2011? Submit your child’s photo for a chance to win a portrait session. Your friends and family will be able to vote for your picture – so get ready to spread the word!

How to Enter:

Email a hi-res image to babycontest2011@marianamaya.com. In the body of your email, you must type the following: “I, [your name], grant Mariana Maya Photography permission to post the attached image of my child [baby name, birth month 2011]. I took the photograph and have a legal right to enter it into a contest. I grant permission to Mariana Maya Photography to post my child’s first name and last initial in conjunction with the image for voting purposes.”

If you don’t have a baby and even if you do , be sure to pass this along to a friend to give them a chance to enter!

Rules and other boring stuff:

1. One baby = one picture. Please pick your favorite picture and send me one. Do not send multiple pictures.
2. For the purposes of the contest, “Baby” constitutes any child born between Jan 1, 2011 and today.
3. Photograph entered cannot contain a watermark or logo.
4. Entrant must have a legal right to enter said photograph. In other words, if you didn’t take it, you can’t enter it.
5. To enter, photographs MUST be received by December 11, 2011 at 9:00 pm PST. Deadline has been extended!!! Wed, Dec 14th!
6. Winner will be chosen by audience participation. This means your friends and family can vote for you.Voting closes on December 24, 2011 at 11:59pm PST.
7. Winner will be announced by December 28, 2011.
