I seriously love doing portraits in the park each Spring! It’s a great opportunity for you to come out and get a quick session done in between the holidays and the new school season. And an even better opportunity for me to see you and a chance to catch up!!
That is exactly what the beautiful Rose Anna and I did.
I loved getting to know her boys a little and had so much fun chasing them around. Truthfully I was TIRED by the time we wrapped up. I have posted a ton of images of these cute boys and their fun expressions!!
How cute is this next set? Video games will teach kids the funniest things.
I couldn’t even pick a favorite I loved so many. Do you have a favorite? If so which one?
Ok maybe this one is my favorite. Mostly for the emotion and the bond between a mom and her “baby” that it portrays.

yesterday was awesome!
First I would like to thank Mother Nature for giving me a day full of Perfect light! THANK YOU!!! Next I would like to thank the families that came out! I had a blast and by the end of the day … my outfit was covered in mud, leaves, grass stains and sweat!! That is a sign of a fun day!!
Here’s ONE sneak peek. I love this baby! Her mom booked a bellies to babies collection with me so I do see them every few months. But wanted to get in an extra session to honor her daughter’s upcoming baptism. More on that later.
I will be rolling out a few sneak peeks and full posts in the upcoming weeks.
Stay tuned! If you missed out send me an email or leave me a comment and I will add you to my mailing list for advance notice next time I run a mini-session special!

Now I know my ABC’s won’t you next time sing with me? And sign he does!!
This is my adorable little nephew. I call him LMNOP. His first name starts with an L and his middle with an M so one day i just busted out with the ABC’s tune and made his name sing-songy. Little did I know then that this kid would “grow up” to sing. Sometimes when it gets really quiet in the house you hear his little voice breaking out in song in some other room. {Awwwww isn’t that cute?} OK Auntie moment over. But seriously he is cute!
His hair is long! He wants to be like one of his big brothers who also has long skater kid hair. But LMNOP’s is always in his face!!! It drives me crazy!! Since I know I will always remember that about him, even when he is a surgeon or a big time lawyer (He He) I thought these images of him as such were perfect! This si something I love about doing child portraits – I let them be them! And I never expect them to look like their school pictures.
With spring around the corner and mother’s day/father’s day not to far off I’m starting to book up for these fun portrait sessions. Contact me to book your child’s!!
The below are just a few of my favorite images.

Did I mention he loves Disney’s Buzz Lightyear ( To infinity and beyond!)

Keeping a secret is really hard for some people. Especially for first time mothers & aunts & everyone that knew. This little cutie’s mom & aunt blew it.
This was a very special infant session. It included four generations of women!

Mom called me to ask me to schedule a top secret photo session for her adorable 2 month old and specifically requested I dion’t give sneak peeks, to keep it a surprise. Well on Monday before Father’s day I happen to bump into the dad on the train. I casually am in the midst of conversation when he says ” we put in our order already” . DEER IN HEADLIGHTS LOOK from me…. Ummm so I keep chatting and he casually says oh I laready know about the surprise.
Happy father’s day!

Many times we “adults” dismissive children because they are young and don’t know anything nor have they experienced life. However it’s because kids are young and inexperienced that they show us the world with honesty and innocence, and remind us how carefree we were before we grew up and had a relationship with Uncle Sam.
(I love this picture they look so quiet & innocent)
I being a kid at heart love sessions with kids. I love talking to them and asking them about the simple things in life, like what their favorite subject is and their favorite food.
Watching kids run around chasing each other and being entertained by something so simple as a bouquet of balloons is one of the things that makes my job, not really even a “Job”.
I was very excited and nostalgic! I have known their mother “Cookie” since I was in forth grade. We didn’t go to the same high school but that just meant we got to go to each other’s school dances (and Bellermaine’s too!). The day she met their dad I was there, as was I on their wedding day. Now many years later these two little ones are about the age we both were when we became life long friends: grade school.
The last picture I am sharing with you is a picture of my life long friend. It is a picture she may have forgotten she gave me a LONG time ago and her mom may be looking for it. And well here it is.
To my friend Cookie. Thank you so much for sharing your children with me and letting them help me stay young! I had so much fun I can’t wait to do it again!! I love you.

Do you remember when your parents would dress you in your Sunday best around Easter time and take you to a photographer’s studio. You would then have to sit in some lobby waiting, sitting absolutely still so that you didn’t wrinkle your freshly pressed clothes before it was your turn. You weren’t alone there were tons of other kids sitting there all looking around miserable wanting to go outside and jump, run & play.
Those aren’t the Spring sessions I offer. I love to capture kids being just that KIDS! Most of the time it means lots of silly faces, running around, rock throwing and climbing trees with a few portraits that the grandparents will melt for.
These siblings gave me one of the funnest sessions ever! What do you think? Can you tell which one is shy?
