When they say the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree they must be talking about this beautiful daughter and her gorgeous mother! She is the epitome of classic beauty!!
Although you only get a tiny sneak peek…. I can guarantee the rest of the session is as beautiful if not MORE!!!
Leave a comment tell me what you think so far!

I seriously love doing portraits in the park each Spring! It’s a great opportunity for you to come out and get a quick session done in between the holidays and the new school season. And an even better opportunity for me to see you and a chance to catch up!!
That is exactly what the beautiful Rose Anna and I did.
I loved getting to know her boys a little and had so much fun chasing them around. Truthfully I was TIRED by the time we wrapped up. I have posted a ton of images of these cute boys and their fun expressions!!
How cute is this next set? Video games will teach kids the funniest things.
I couldn’t even pick a favorite I loved so many. Do you have a favorite? If so which one?
Ok maybe this one is my favorite. Mostly for the emotion and the bond between a mom and her “baby” that it portrays.

I am thankful for so many things it would take a million years to list. In summary my family (who puts up with my craziness), my health ( I can still eat seconds of dessert and for that i am SUPER DOOPER thankful), my job which is so fun it’s hard to call a job and for my clients. They are all awesome and have shared so much with me!
Thank you!!

Here is a family to whom I am thankful to.
I met them at a wedding I shot this past summer. She was a bridesmaid. And as fall began I was honored to shoot her whole family and I fell in love with their little cutie pie.
During the session I saw how much they love their daughter. They demonstrated concern (she fell in her new shoes), love ( lots of kisses)
and the hardest thing a parent can do: to let go and know a child will succeed on their own. OK I’m dramatic here but seriously they let this cutie run around and have fun, giving her enough space to explore and even taste a little dirt.
All while being close by in case she needed a helping hand.
Isn’t her wavy hair precious?
Can’t wait to see this cutie pie again!!
Bye bye for now.

Time flies! I remember when I first met this little angels parents. And the first time I met him! Now 6 months later I almost didn’t recognize him! He’s gotten so big.
I love this little baby he is the cutest , best, happiest baby!! At the end of the session I wanted to take him home and keep him forever, unfortunately Veronica & Jose wouldn’t let me take him- but I did get to go home with all these great pictures!! Maybe you can pick a favorite- because I couldn’t.
The weather has been so weird one day it’s super hot the next day it’s super cold. Due to weather we had re-scheduled his 6 month session and upon arriving I was worried it might still be too cold. However the weather & photo gods agreed and played nice. The early evening turned out to be nice not too hot, not too cold just right!
I loved this session because along with the parents I got to share a few “baby’s firsts”.
First visit to the merry-go-round.
First story time on a park bench by the merry go round of his favorite book: What did baby do?
and I believe even first visit to the swing set!! Even though he didn’t get a push on the swing set– maybe we’ll do that on his first birthday!!
What “we” did do was play Peek a Boo! Seriously this was my favorite part of the session!
Well that’s it! How cute is he?? Were you able to pick just one favorite? I’ld love to hear which one it was you can tell me in the comments section. Veronica & Jose – Thank you so much for sharing your precious little angel with me!
One final one- how cute is his expression in this?

If you follow my blog you already know that I love Polaroid film. You might also be aware that the company Polaroid decided to stop manufacturing this film in Feb 2008. Sadly it is quickly disappearing. There are still a few boxes left out there and they have quickly gone from $13 a box (10 images) to $20!! and maybe even more. I am happy to announce that The Impossible Project was started to manufacture more of this delicious instant film, hoping to remanufacture this film by the end of 2009. I am hoping it happens!! Until them.. I will be contributing to the increasing Polaroid price as a buyer and seeing as my Economic 101 class proves right in the rule of “supply & demand”.
The next two images I took by holding a magnifying lens up.

Many times we “adults” dismissive children because they are young and don’t know anything nor have they experienced life. However it’s because kids are young and inexperienced that they show us the world with honesty and innocence, and remind us how carefree we were before we grew up and had a relationship with Uncle Sam.
(I love this picture they look so quiet & innocent)
I being a kid at heart love sessions with kids. I love talking to them and asking them about the simple things in life, like what their favorite subject is and their favorite food.
Watching kids run around chasing each other and being entertained by something so simple as a bouquet of balloons is one of the things that makes my job, not really even a “Job”.
I was very excited and nostalgic! I have known their mother “Cookie” since I was in forth grade. We didn’t go to the same high school but that just meant we got to go to each other’s school dances (and Bellermaine’s too!). The day she met their dad I was there, as was I on their wedding day. Now many years later these two little ones are about the age we both were when we became life long friends: grade school.
The last picture I am sharing with you is a picture of my life long friend. It is a picture she may have forgotten she gave me a LONG time ago and her mom may be looking for it. And well here it is.
To my friend Cookie. Thank you so much for sharing your children with me and letting them help me stay young! I had so much fun I can’t wait to do it again!! I love you.
