I always say I love my life, my family & those I choose as my family–> My Friends!
I received an email from a college friend I haven’t seen in years, seriously I’m not kidding YEARS, telling me her & her husband were coming to San Francisco. I was so overly excited I couldn’t wait to see her!
Aren’t they an absolutely cute couple?
I snuck away form work to have lunch with them on their last day in town, as I sent them off to the Castro. Later we met again and headed out to North Beach to do some touristy stuff. UM ok I am the worst tourist in San Francisco. Absolutely oblivious to the tourist sites, so when I notice one it’s typically in a pictures I’ve taken where the people are the focus. OOPS! But this time I was better I noticed the Trans America Building seen far off in the Financial district.
Regardless we had a blast! Grabbed some beers at an Irish pub O’Reilly’s and then headed to my beloved Steps of Rome. All found in North Beach, San Francisco.
Evelyn & Omar I can’t wait to see you again! Next time we will even squeeze in more photos!! Hasta Pronto!!!
If you are coming to San Francisco and would like me to document your day as you are a tourist here, drop me a note! I would love to spend the day with you!!!

I know I’ve said it before but I LOVE San Francisco.
I take many leisurely strolls throughout SF always trying to pick a new way to explore between destinations. I enjoy these walks because it gives me a chance to try a new approach to my photography. I challenge myself to not dismiss anything as plain or not worthy. Sometimes the means of seeing are a Holga, an all manual 35 mm camera or simply my handy iPhone.
How do you challenge yourself to see the otherwise unseen in your daily life? Please tell me in the comment area below.
Here are a few of this week’s findings.
Enjoy!

Ah San Francisco! What a great city. So diverse, with it’s many pockets of neighborhoods. It’s always been one of my favorite cities, and I truly enjoy walking around and discovering new sights. Do you have a San Francisco spot I should check out? Let me know in the comments and possibly I will post some images from it here!!
I am in San Francisco often, & hope to bring you bits and pieces of it here. Images will be taken with different mediums, many times with the iPhone. And on that note images taken while lunching in Yerba Buena Gardens.
If you have never been I totally recommend popping into Samovar tea lounge. They don’t just serve tea the food is delicious!
As you can see the view to die for! Score! Perfect afternoon spot!!!

Hi everyone! I hope you all enjoyed your weekend. What did you guys do? Tell me in the comments below!!
I had a busy & fun filled weekend. I got to hangout with some Raiders (Silver Creek high school) at their class reunion on Saturday night and hung out with an even funner group on Sunday. A mother daughter & their two dogs. One sweeter than honey & one feisty!!!
Images from both days events coming soon….
Here are a couple of film images from a bit ago but on a day similar to this weekends. Both taken in San Francisco.

Kim contacted me to ask if I would be available to document their very secret wedding. I of course was very intrigued. Were their family rivals (Romeo & Juliet)? Had one of them been promised to another family at birth? Was he being deployed in the military? So many possibilities.
The truth was they were eloping to San Francisco just to be romantic. Awwwww! and will most likely have a big family wedding in December. I think it’s the best idea ever, especially with as much fun as the first one was.

After the ceremony we headed over to the beach. Here is just one image.
This is just the sneak peek – lots more images and a slideshow to come….

They say that what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. NOT so for this couple. Salina was in Vegas for a girls trip from California. Adam was there on a boys trip from New York!! They met and Salina said they hung out till way late having instantly bonded. Adam knew he couldn’t be apart from her and moved across the country to be with her. (awwwwwww!) Adam’s family is still back East and will be flying in for this event along with his boys! I look forward to meeting everyone. And when they see how nice the weather is here (please weather act right) they might even move here!!
A few weeks ago I gave you guys a little teaser to this engagement session.. well here is the full session!
It was a very cold day in San Francisco despite it being about 100 degrees in San Jose. The drastic weather change caused for us to truly appreciate all the hard work models put in, especially when they are required to shoot in bikinis in beautiful and crazy locations such as Alaska. Here is an attempt of modeling and not looking cold.

The little one wasn’t too happy about the weather (nor the camera). How cute is she??? I know she will make an adorable flower girl and give me a great work out, because I’ll have to chase her around!
I love this family portrait of all of them.

Salina & Adam are a super fun couple they joked around throughout the whole session. I’m sure their marriage will be full of love, laughter & fun.
I don’t think they expected to get in the cold ocean & get wet but with me you never know what’s going to happen!
Salina might kill me (after the wedding) for posting this but I thought it was cute. I had asked Adam to approach and kiss Salina in a very sexy- seductive fashion. UM and this is what happened.
I can’t wait until the wedding! It’s going to be so much fun! Wait till you see Salina’s dress!!! I haven’t seen it nor pictures but she’s described bits and pieces and I’m soo excited!! And seriously as cute as this couple is they could get married in pajamas!!
I leave you with one last image. A very typical San Francisco foggy day with the Golden Gate bridge playing Peek A Boo!

As promised last week here! A maternity session is so special it deserves it’s own post.
The following images show how beautiful Debi’s baby bump is! As well as how much love both parents have for each other & for their little one.
Maternity sessions are fun especially in today’s age where the Baby Bump is shown off ( not like in the past where it was hidden under loose clothes (the moo moo) and never ever shown off.
I look forward to meeting your little one!! I wish the 3 of you much happiness in your future!
